Wausau's Trusted Dentist

Dr. Peter Freyer

Dr. Peter Freyer grew up on a hobby farm in a rural portion of New York State and moved to the Midwest for college where he later graduated from the University of Missouri at Kansas City. Dr. Freyer then went on to complete a General Practice residency after Dental School. After graduation, Dr. Freyer served in the US Navy for 4 years. He has since practiced in and called Wisconsin home for over 20 years. That being said, you may catch onto his “New Yorker” accent from time to time.

Dr. Freyer enjoys providing General Dental care and is passionate about helping his patients strive for optimal dental health. His recent areas of training and interest include digital dentistry, cosmetics, and dental implants. You will feel comfortable with Dr. Freyer as your dentist knowing that as serious as he is about your oral health, he wants you to feel good about coming to the dentist and any treatment plans you may build together.

In his spare time, he enjoys gardening, woodworking, and time with his wife and children doing mostly outdoor activities including camping, hiking, and skiing. Dr Freyer looks forward to meeting you and your family and helping you along your dental health journey.

Jamie

Jamie is our Practice Administrator and Patient Coordinator. For the past 17+ years, Jamie has worked in this dental office. In fact, she even use to come to this office when she was a kid for her dental appointments! Jamie enjoys getting to know patients and their families and doing everything she can to make their visit a pleasant and comfortable experience. She always has a welcoming smile for every patient.

She is often the first person to greet you with a smile when you step into our office and strives to make sure you feel comfortable at every visit. Jamie and her husband Dave have been married for 25 years and have 2 children. Outside of the office she and Dave enjoy spending time up north on the pontoon with family and friends, on their UTV, snowmobiling and reading.

Tammy

Tammy is our talented Registered Dental Hygienist. Tammy grew up in Ringle, Wisconsin and went to High School at D.C. Everest further completing her Associates degree to become a Registered Dental Hygienist at North Central College in 1993.

Tammy’s passion lies in detailed patient education and being able to deliver a positive dental experience to every patient she sees. She listens to the patient to determine their true concerns and help them overcome any barriers they may have to treatment. She understands nervousness is okay. Tammy prides herself in being able to gain patients trust, being gentle and thorough and laughing throughout each appointment. Outside of the office Tammy is always with her family and friends. She has a husband Rich and three Children Keighla (John), Jacob and Celina. Tammy loves to go camping, UTV, volunteer, watch Celina show her horse and she is an active 4H project leader.

Wendee

A highly skilled and diversely trained hygienist, Wendee comes to us with over 25 years of Dental Hygiene experience. She graduated locally from North Central Tech to kick start her career and has spent the majority of that career working in public health.

Bringing an energetic personality to every visit, Wendee always takes time with patients to allow all questions to be answered and for them to have an understanding of all dental conditions. She loves working with children and allowing them to have great dental experiences in the dental chair and educating them on oral health.

When not seeing patients, Wendee is usually with her family while includes her husband Joe, daughter Kendra, son-in-law Dylan, grand daughter Veronica and son Kaden. She also has two beautiful husky dogs, Buckshot and Olaf. Fun fact, Wendee was raised on a hobby farm and enjoys and appreciates all animals.

Kim

Kim is one of our lovely Patient Coordinators. She is the bright smiling face you see when you walk in the door.

Kim has been in the dental field for over 5 years and enjoys creating a warm and welcoming environment for every patient who walks through the door. She loves creating and maintaining lasting relationships with patients and treating them like they are her own family.

In her spare time, she enjoys camping, gardening, and bowling. She is a huge Packer and Badger sports fan. She currently lives in Marathon with her husband, Tyler, and they have a very spoiled tabby cat named Ruxin.

Hailey

Hailey is one of our amazing Dental Assistants who graduated from Northcentral Technical College. She grew up in Clear Lake, Iowa and moved to Wausau to attend dental assisting school. She is looking forward to continuing her education further into dentistry.

Hailey’s passionate about building trust and relationships with her patients. She believes that it is important that patients leave with confidence in their smile. She always enjoyed going to her dentist office as a child and wants others to feel more comfortable in this environment as well.

Outside of the office Hailey enjoys painting and spending time outdoors with her friends and family.

Rachel

Rachel is our newest Dental Assistant who is originally from Michigan. She has been in the dental field for 3 years as a Patient Coordinator. As much as she loves the scheduling and insurance aspect of the practice, she looks forward to expanding her knowledge as a Dental Assistant.

Rachel’s passion lies with creating personal relationships with each patient and making their experience as best as it can be. She goes above and beyond for others to make sure they have a great experience.

In Rachel’s free time, she has two boys at home that keep her busy. She also enjoys country music, traveling to Nashville, camping and any kind of DIY project.
