Dr. Peter Freyer
Dr. Peter Freyer grew up on a hobby farm in a rural portion of New York State and moved to the Midwest for college where he later graduated from the University of Missouri at Kansas City. Dr. Freyer then went on to complete a General Practice residency after Dental School. After graduation, Dr. Freyer served in the US Navy for 4 years. He has since practiced in and called Wisconsin home for over 20 years. That being said, you may catch onto his “New Yorker” accent from time to time.
Dr. Freyer enjoys providing General Dental care and is passionate about helping his patients strive for optimal dental health. His recent areas of training and interest include digital dentistry, cosmetics, and dental implants. You will feel comfortable with Dr. Freyer as your dentist knowing that as serious as he is about your oral health, he wants you to feel good about coming to the dentist and any treatment plans you may build together.
In his spare time, he enjoys gardening, woodworking, and time with his wife and children doing mostly outdoor activities including camping, hiking, and skiing. Dr Freyer looks forward to meeting you and your family and helping you along your dental health journey.
Dr. Erin McDermott
Dr. Erin McDermott grew up in Mason, Michigan, and earned her undergraduate degree in Exercise Science from Central Connecticut State University. Her love for the Midwest eventually brought her back to attend dental school at the University of Minnesota.
Dr. McDermott is passionate about delivering comprehensive, patient-centered care and creating a comfortable, welcoming environment where patients feel truly cared for. She believes in building strong relationships and helping patients feel confident in their oral health.
Outside of dentistry, Erin enjoys spending time with her fiancé, Zach, their rescue dog, Jax, and family. She loves hiking, playing cards, spending time at the lake, and cheering on the Green Bay Packers. She is excited to call Wausau home and looks forward to caring for the community and our patients at Bull Falls Dental.
Kayla
Kayla is our Practice Integrator and Patient Coordinators. What stands out about her as a patient coordinator is her dedication to connecting with patients on a personal level during every visit. She takes pride in ensuring that each patient feels comfortable and at ease throughout their experience. Having had her own reservations about dental visits as a child, she now strives to create a welcoming and reassuring environment for everyone.
Outside of dentistry, Kayla enjoys spending time with her husband and beloved dog Zena, and making the most of the seasons by snowmobiling in the winter and camping during the summer months. Kayla looks forward to getting to know you at your upcoming visit with us!
Jamie
Jamie is one of our Patient Coordinators. For the past 20+ years, Jamie has worked in this dental office. In fact, she even use to come to this office when she was a kid for her dental appointments! Jamie enjoys getting to know patients and their families and doing everything she can to make their visit a pleasant and comfortable experience. She always has a welcoming smile for every patient.
She is often the first person to greet you with a smile when you step into our office and strives to make sure you feel comfortable at every visit. Jamie and her husband Dave have 2 children and 2 grandchildren. Outside of the office she and Dave enjoy spending time up north on the pontoon with family and friends, on their UTV, snowmobiling and reading.
Tammy
Tammy is one of our talented Registered Dental Hygienists. Tammy grew up in Ringle, Wisconsin and went to High School at D.C. Everest further completing her Associates degree to become a Registered Dental Hygienist at North Central College in 1993.
Tammy’s passion lies in detailed patient education and being able to deliver a positive dental experience to every patient she sees. She listens to the patient to determine their true concerns and help them overcome any barriers they may have to treatment. She understands nervousness is okay. Tammy prides herself in being able to gain patients trust, being gentle and thorough and laughing throughout each appointment. Outside of the office Tammy is always with her family and friends. She has a husband Rich and three Children Keighla (John), Jacob, Celina, and 2 grand babies. Tammy loves to go camping, UTV, volunteer, watch Celina show her horse.
Wendee
A highly skilled and diversely trained hygienist, Wendee has nearly 30 years of Dental Hygiene experience. She graduated locally from North Central Tech to kick start her career and has spent the majority of that career working in public health.
Bringing an energetic personality to every visit, Wendee always takes time with patients to allow all questions to be answered and for them to have an understanding of all dental conditions. She loves working with children and allowing them to have great dental experiences in the dental chair and educating them on oral health.
When not seeing patients, Wendee is usually with her family while includes her husband Joe, daughter Kendra, son-in-law Dylan, grand daughter Veronica and son Kaden. She also has two beautiful husky dogs, Buckshot and Olaf. Fun fact, Wendee was raised on a hobby farm and enjoys and appreciates all animals.
Keltie
Keltie is one of our Dental Assistants. Keltie grew up on a small farm in Neillsville, Wisconsin, where she developed a strong sense of hard work and community. She went on to complete her Dental Assisting training at Northcentral Technical College. She then completed her clinical training at Bull Falls Dental which landed her where she is with us today.
She enjoys building meaningful connections with patients and takes pride in helping people feel comfortable sharing both their dental concerns and their personal stories. Creating a welcoming, relaxed experience in the chair is something she strives for at every visit.
Outside of the dental office, Keltie enjoys playing volleyball and darts, and she’s a big fan of LEGO building sets, which reflect her creative and detail-oriented side. She’s excited to be part of the team at Bull Falls Dental and to serve the community she cares about.
